In order to save time and money on development cost, a technical audit was performed on the Shopify themes market in order to pave way for a strong foundation and establish a base line of feature sets for a luxury branded ecommerce website.
This allowed us to focus on strategy and design by selecting an optimal theme containing key functionality out of the box without the need to create a framework or build a large number of components from scratch.
